Call for Submissions: Wellbeing Books

We have been delighted to welcome a new member to the team this week, with Lizzie Kaye joining us as a commissioning editor for our emerging wellbeing publishing list.

Lizzie is a former commissioning editor at Unbound, where she published illustrated titles and graphic novels with a focus on market trends. In June 2020, she launched her own graphic novel imprint, Cast Iron Books.

Speaking of the appointment, Managing Director James Woollam said:

“This is an exciting appointment for us as we continue to grow our business as an independent publisher. Consumer lifestyles have changed in the past 18 months, and we have seen growth in our craft and art books and branded online courses. Our developing wellbeing list will build on this, and title success we’re already seeing this year with books such as Mood Crystals, 100 Plants that Heal and The Witch’s Yearbook.”

A submissions window for new books is now open and will run until 30th January 2022. More information on the direction for this and how to submit can be found here.
